In the opening contest of the 2021-22 College Football Bowl season, quarterback Nicholas Vattiato completed 23 of 35 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns on Friday as the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (7-6) held off the Toledo Rockets (7-6) in the latest edition of the Bahamas Bowl.
