BRAVES POUND AND HANDCUFF ASTROS FOR FIRST WORLD SERIES TITLE SINCE 1995; JORGE SOLER WINS MVP AWARD

A three-run third-inning home run by series Most Valuable Player Jorge Soler and a two-run fifth-inning round tripper by Dansby Swanson, combined with three pitchers (including starter Max Fried, who pitched six solid innings) combining for a six-hit shutout on Tuesday night as the Atlanta Braves locked up their fourth World Series title----their first since 1995-----by hammering the home-standing Houston Astros 7-0 in game six of the Fall Classic, which the Braves won in six games.
