FIFA World Cup Qualifying (CONCACAF): Dos a Cero Redux As Team USA Blanks Mexico In Cincinnati; Friday Wins For Panama, Canada; El Salvador and Reggae Boyz Draw

 Four games were contested on  Friday as the Octagonal Round of CONCACAF-regional qualifying for next year's FIFA World Cup reached its' midway point.


At Olympic Metropolitan Stadium, San Pedro Sula, Honduras:


Eric Davis scored the winning goal in the 85th minute as Panama came back from two goals down to shock Honduras 3-2 on the road.


At Commonwealth Stadium, Edmonton, Alberta:


Jonathan David scored the only goal of the match in the 57th minute as Canada knocked off visiting Costa Rica 1-0.


At Cuscatlan Stadium, San Salvador, El Salvador:


Alexander Roldan's equalizer in the 90th minute lifted El Salvador to a 1-1 home draw with Jamaica.


Michail Antonio tallied for the Reggae Boyz at 82 minutes.


At TQL Stadium, Cincinnati:


Christian Pulisic (74') and Weston McKennie (85') each scored once as the United States blanked visiting Mexico 2-0.
