Both National League divisional playoff series continued on Tuesday.
At Cumberland, Georgia:
Freddy Freeman hit a home run in the eighth inning to propel the Atlanta Braves to a 5-4 game-four home victory over the Milwaukee Brewers as the Braves won their divisional playoff series three games to one.
At Los Angeles:
Home runs from Mookie Betts (who drove in three runs) and Will Smith enabled the Los Angeles Dodgers to overpower the visiting San Francisco Giants 7-2 in game four of their divisional playoff series, now deadlocked at two games apiece.
The only series from the postseason's second round to reach the maximum five games will be decided on Thursday back in San Francisco (6:07 PM Pacific Time, TBS)
