UEFA Champions League Playoff Round: Malmo, Young Boys, Benfica Advance To Group Stage

 The second half of the UEFA Champions League's playoff round opened with three games on Tuesday.


Champions Path:


At Budapest, Hungary:


Cedric Zesiger (4'), Christian Fassnacht (56'), and Felix Mambimbi (90'+3) each scored once as BSC Young Boys upended Ferencvaros 3-2 on the road in game two and ousted the Hungarian club 6-4 on aggregate.


At Razgrad, Bulgaria:


Veljko Birmancevic scored the series-winning goal in the 42nd minute as Malmo FF, despite dropping a 2-1 game-two road decision to Ludogorets Razgrad, won their series with the Bulgarian club 3-2 on aggregate.




League Path:


At Eindhoven, Netherlands:


By gaining a 0-0 game-two road stalemate with PSV Eindhoven, SL Benfica advanced to the group stage.
