Goals courtesy of Dairon Asprilla (PK-10'), Yimmi Chara (29'), and Felipe Mora (62') carried the Portland Timbers to a 3-2 Saturday Major League Soccer home victory over Real Salt Lake, ending the hosts' three-match winless streak.
Albert Rusnak (40') and Damir Kreilach (80') each scored once for RSL.
Goalkeeper Aljaz Ivacic made a career-high seven saves to preserve the Portland victory.
The Timbers' next match is set for next Sunday as they host their archrivals, the Seattle Sounders in a Cascadia Cup clash at 5:30 PM Pacific Time (Fox Sports 1).
