MLS: Wednesday Wins For Five Stripes, Revs, Herons, Philly, Red Bulls, Sounders, Caps, RSL

Eleven games were contested in Major League Soccer on Wednesday.


At Atlanta:


Ezequiel Barco scored the only goal of the match in the 20th minute as Atlanta United defeated visiting Toronto FC 1-0.


At Foxborough, Massachusetts:


DeJuan Jones scored the game winner in the 85th minute as the New England Revolution held off visiting DC United 3-2.


At Cincinnati, Ohio:


FC Cincinnati and visiting Montreal battled to a 0-0 stalemate.


At Fort Lauderdale, Florida:


Rodolfo Pizarro came through for Inter Miami with his game winner at the death (90'+3) as the Herons came from behind to knock off the visiting Chicago Fire 3-2.


At Chester, Pennsylvania:


Alejandro Bedoya scored the game's lone goal in the 67th minute as the Philadelphia Union defeated visiting New York City 1-0.


At Harrison, New Jersey:


John Tolkin scored the only goal of the match in the 33rd minute as the New York Red Bulls downed the visiting Columbus Crew 1-0.


At Frisco, Texas:


Raul Rudidiaz scored the winning goal in the 63rd minute as the Seattle Sounders upended FC Dallas 1-0 on the road to reclaim sole possession of first place in the Western Conference.


At Kansas City, Kansas:


Daniel Salloi's late equalizer (90'+1) lifted Sporting Kansas City to a 1-1 home draw with the Portland Timbers.


Felipe Mora scored for the Timbers in the 17th minute.


At Nashville, Tennessee:


Antonio Carlos' equalizer at 58 minutes lifted Orlando City to a 1-1 road draw with Nashville SC.


C.J. Sapong scored in the 23rd minute for the Music City Men.


At Austin, Texas:


Brian White scored the game-winning goal in the 74th minute as the Vancouver Whitecaps came from behind to knock off Austin FC 2-1 on the road.


At Sandy, Utah:


Anderson Julio came through for Real Salt Lake with his game-winning tally at 88 minutes as the hosts upended the visiting Houston Dynamo 2-1.
