Two games were contested on Tuesday in Major League Soccer.
At Carson, California:
Andre Shinyashiki scored the winning goal in the 73rd minute as the Colorado Rapids knocked off the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1 on the road, preventing the hosts from taking over top spot in the Western Conference standings.
At San Jose, California:
Minnesota United and the home-standing (and ten-man) San Jose Earthquakes battled to a 1-1 deadlock as the Quakes' Chris Wondolowski played his 400th career MLS game.
The Loons' Bakaye Dibassy scored an own goal in the 12th minute to give San Jose a 1-0 lead, only go see Minnesota United square things with Will Trapp's tally at 22 minutes.
