In the lone Thursday contest in the CONCACAF Champions League's preliminary round, Tristan Borges (15'), Mo Babouli (25'), and David Choiniere (50') each scored once as Canada's Forge FC, designated as the home club in this one, held off El Salvador's FAS 3-1 in the opening game of their two-match series.
