At Chicago:
Nick De Leon scored the game winner in the 76th minute as Toronto FC held off the Chicago Fire 2-1 on the road.
At Saint Paul, Minnesota:
Chase Gasper (74') and Robin Lod (85') each scored once as Minnesota United came from behind to upend the visiting Portland Timbers 2-1.
At Frisco, Texas:
18 year-old Ricardo Pepi became the youngest player in MLS history to produce a hat trick (27', 44', 50') as FC Dallas demolished the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy 4-0.
At Nashville, Tennessee:
C.J. Sapong scored twice (13', 57') as Nashville SC dominated visiting FC Cincinnati 3-0.
At Sandy, Utah:
Goals courtesy of William Yarbrough (OG-14'), Bobby Wood (30'), and Rubio Rubin (76') lifted Real Salt Lake to a 3-0 home fist-beating of the Colorado Rapids.
At San Jose, California:
An own goal from Zarek Valentin (45'+5) lifted the San Jose Earthquakes to a 1-1 home draw with the Houston Dynamo.
Matias Vera scored in the 40th minute for the Dynamo.
At Los Angeles:
Carlos Vela (40') and Jose Cifuentes (75') each scored once to carry the Los Angeles Football Club from two goals down to gain a 2-2 home draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Deiber Caicedo (25') and Cristian Dajome (38') each scored a goal for the 'Caps.
