In the lone Thursday night Major League Soccer contest, Jon Gallagher scored Austin FC's first-ever home goal in the 28th minute and he would by followed by Diego Fagundez (33'), Alex Ring (77'), and Hector Jimenez (82') as the hosts dominated the visiting Portland Timbers 4-1 for their first win at Q2 Stadium in front of a capacity crowd.
