MLS: Revs, Crew, Montreal, Nashville, Caps, LAFC, Timbers Pick Up Saturday Wins

Action in Major League Soccer resumed on Saturday with ten games.


At Atlanta:


Gustavo Bou scored the only goal of the match in the 18th minute as the New England Revolution knocked off hosts Atlanta United 1-0.


At Columbus, Ohio:


Darlington Nagbe (45'+3) and Lucas Zelarayan (62') each scored once as the Columbus Crew held off visiting New York City 2-1.


At Montreal:


In their first home game in Montreal this season, CF Montreal, with Mason Toye (21', PK-72') and Ahmed Hamdi (74', 87') each scoring twice, twice overcame two-goal deficits and knocked off visiting FC Cincinnati 5-4.


At Chester, Pennsylvania:


Kacper Przybylko scored the game winner at 82 minutes as the Philadelphia Union defeated visiting DC United 2-1.


At Toronto:


Toronto FC and visiting Orlando City battled to a 1-1 draw in the Reds' first home match of the season in the Ontario provincial capital city.


Jozy Altidore scored for Toronto in the 72nd minute, only to see Nani convert a penalty kick for the Lions's equalizer five minutes later.


At Nashville:


Hany Mukhtar scored the fastest hat trick in MLS history (10', 13', 16') as Nashville SC doused the visiting Chicago Fire 5-1.


At Commerce City, Colorado:


Cole Bassett's equalizer in the 53rd minute lifted the San Jose Earthquakes to a 1-1 road draw with the Colorado Rapids.


Javier Eduardo Lopez tallied for the Rapids at 11 minutes.


At Sandy, Utah (due to ongoing COVID-travel restrictions between the United States and Canada):


Dieber Caicedo (48') and Cristian Dajome (77') each scored once as the Vancouver Whitecaps came from behind to upend the visiting Los Angeles Galaxy 2-1 and snap an eight-game winless streak.


At Los Angeles:


Carlos Vela scored the winning goal in the 79th minute as the Los Angeles Football Club downed visiting Real Salt Lake 2-1.


At Portland, Oregon:


Jeremy Ebobisse scored the only goal of the match in the 84th minute as the Portland Timbers defeated visiting FC Dallas 1-0./
