CONCACAF Gold Cup: Honduras Advances To Quarterfinals; Grenada Eliminated

At BBVA Stadium, Houston:

Two games in Group D of the CONCACAF Gold Cup were contested as the second cycle of group-stage contests concluded.

Game #1:

Abdulaziz Halem (11'), Akram Afif (22'), Mohammed Muntan (36'), and Almoez Ali (48') each scored once as Qatar demolished Grenada 4-0, eliminating the Spice Boys from the tournament.

Game #2:

Romell Quioto scored twice (22', 65') as Honduras punched their ticket to the quarterfinal round by defeating Panama 3-2.
