Cleveland's Baseball Team Wasn't Always Known As The Indians

They've been known as the Bluebirds, Bronchos, and Naps (for star player Napoleon Lajorie) before they were renamed the Indians in 1915.

Beginning next season, the Indians will be known as the "Guardians."


Frankly, I've never had any problems with the name "Indians" (or, for that matter, "Washington Redskins").
