The NBA Playoffs are set to continue on Friday with two games, both to be telecast on ESPN.
EASTERN CONFERENCE:
At Atlanta:
Tobias Harris and Seth Curry each scored 24 points while Joel Embiid added 23 (to go with his 13 rebounds) as the Philadelphia 76ers knocked off the Atlanta Hawks 104-99 on the road in game six of their conference semifinal series.
Trae Young topped the Hawks with 34 points while dishing out 12 assists.
The series, now deadlocked at three games apiece, will be decided in Philadelphia on Sunday (5:00 PM Pacific Time, TNT).
WESTERN CONFERENCE:
At Los Angeles:
Terance Mann scored a career-high 39 points while Paul George added 28 (to go with his nine rebounds) and Reggie Jackson 27 (plus 10 assists) as the Los Angeles Clippers, still minus the injured Kawhi Leonard, erased a 25-point third-period deficit and shocked the visiting Utah Jazz 131-119 before a capacity crowd of 17,105 fans at the Staples Center in game six of their conference semifinal series, which the Clippers won four games to two to advance to the first conference final in their 51-year history.
Donovan Mitchell scored 39 points (to go with nine rebounds and nine assists) to top the Jazz while Royce O'Neale (who grabbed ten rebounds) and Jordan Clarkson (off the bench) each added 21.
The Clippers will open the Western Conference Final on Sunday against the Phoenix Suns in Arizona (12:30 PM Pacific Time, ABC).
