Euro 2020: It's The Knockout Stage For Belgium And The Netherlands; North Macedonia Eliminated

 Group-stage play in the European Championships continued with three games on Thursday.

GROUP B:

At Copenhagen:

Kevin De Bruyne scored the winning goal in the 70th minute as Belgium clinched a berth in the knockout stage after their 2-1 road win over Denmark.

Group B Standings:

1. x-Belgium (GP: 2; GD: +4; PTS: 6)

2.    Russia (GP: 2; GD: -2; PTS: 3)

3.    Finland (GP: 2; GD: 0; PTS: 3)

4.    Denmark (GP: 2; GD: -2; PTS: 0)

NOTE:  Russia defeated Finland 1-0 on Wednesday in Saint Petersburg.

GROUP C:

At Bucharest, Romania:

Andriy Yarmolenko (29') and Roman Yaremchuk (34') each scored once as Ukraine defeated North Macedonia 2-1 (who were eliminated from the tournament).

At Amsterdam, Netherlands:

Memphis Depay (PK-11') and Denzel Dumfries (67') each scored once as the Netherlands defeated visiting Austria 2-0 and locked up a knockout-stage berth.
