Euro 2020: France Gain 1-1 Draw With Hungary; Spain And Poland Also Draw; Germany Doubles Up Portugal In Munich

Three group-stage games were contested in the European Championship on Saturday as the second cycle of such games came to a conclusion.


GROUP  E:


At Seville, Spain:


Robert Lewandowski's equalizer in the 54th minute carried Poland to a 1-1 road draw with Spain.


Alvaro Morata scored for the Red Fury in the 25th minute.




GROUP F:


At Budapest, Hungary:


Antoine Guiezmann's equalizer in the 66th minute lifted France to a 1-1 road draw with Hungary.


Attila Fiola scored in the second minute of first-half stoppage time for the Magyars. 


At Munich, Germany:


Own goals from Ruben Diaz (35') and Raphael Guerreiro (39') helped Germany defeat Portugal 4-2.


The Germans also got goals from their own players------Kai Havertz (51') and Robin Gosens (60').


Group F Standings:


1. France (GP: 2; GD: +1; PTS: 4)

2. Germany (GP: 2; GD: +1; PTS: 3)

3. Portugal (GP: 2; GD: +1; PTS: 3)

4. Hungary (GP: 2; GD: -3; PTS: 1)


NOTE:  Germany defeated Portugal 4-2 on Saturday.
