The Stanley Cup Playoffs continued on Thursday with two games.
CENTRAL DIVISION:
At Nashville, Tennessee:
Sebastian Aho scored twice (once on the power play), with his second being the game and series winner at 66 minutes of overtime as the Carolina Hurricanes outlasted the Nashville Predators 4-3 in game six of their divisional semifinal series as the 'Canes wrapped up the series (with four of the games decided in one or two overtimes) four games to two.
Next up for the Hurricanes, the Central Division final against the Tampa Bay Lightning with Carolina holding home-ice advantage.
NORTH DIVISION:
At Toronto:
Joel Armia scored twice while Nick Suzuki scored the game winner at 59 seconds of overtime as the Montreal Canadiens upended the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 on the road in game five of their divisional semifinal series.
The Leafs, still up three games to two, can close out the Habs with a game-six victory in Montreal on Saturday (4:30 PM Pacific Time, NBCSN).
