Six games were contested on Wednesday in Major League Soccer.
At Orlando, Florida (due to COVID-related travel restrictions between the United States and Canada):
Michael Bradley (13') and Jozy Altidore (87') each scored once as Toronto FC blanked the visiting (and re-branded) Columbus Crew 2-0.
At Fort Lauderdale, Florida:
Bjorn Johnsen scored both goals (14', 25') in Montreal's 2-0 road blanking of Inter Miami.
It was a Herons home match even though the ex-Impact is using it as a temporary home base due to COVID-related travel restrictions between the US and Canada.
At Chester, Pennsylvania:
After Teal Bunbury scored in the 85th minute to give the New England Revolution a 1-0 lead, Kacper Przybylko equalized three minute to gain a 1-1 home draw for the Philadelphia Union.
At Houston:
Maxi Urruti scored the only goal of the Houston Dynamo's 1-0 home triumph over Sporting Kansas City in the 56th minute.
At St. Paul, Minnesota:
Ramon Abila scored the winning goal in the 72nd minute as Minnesota United upended the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0 for their first victory of the season.
At San Jose, California:
Cristian Roldan's goal in the 18th minute proved to be the difference as the Seattle Sounders defeated the San Jose Earthquakes 1-0 on the road.
