MLS: Reds, ex-Impact, Dynamo, Loons, Sounders Gather Wednesday Wins; Revs And Philly Battle To 1-1 Deadlock

 Six games were contested on Wednesday in Major League Soccer.


At Orlando, Florida (due to COVID-related travel restrictions between the United States and Canada):


Michael Bradley (13') and Jozy Altidore (87') each scored once as Toronto FC blanked the visiting (and re-branded) Columbus Crew 2-0.


At Fort Lauderdale, Florida:


Bjorn Johnsen scored both goals (14', 25') in Montreal's 2-0 road blanking of Inter Miami.


It was a Herons home match even though the ex-Impact is using it as a temporary home base due to COVID-related travel restrictions between the US and Canada.


At Chester, Pennsylvania:


After Teal Bunbury scored in the 85th minute to give the New England Revolution a 1-0 lead, Kacper Przybylko equalized three minute to gain a 1-1 home draw for the Philadelphia Union.


At Houston:


Maxi Urruti scored the only goal of the Houston Dynamo's 1-0 home triumph over Sporting Kansas City in the 56th minute.


At St. Paul, Minnesota:


Ramon Abila scored the winning goal in the 72nd minute as Minnesota United upended the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0 for their first victory of the season.


At San Jose, California:


Cristian Roldan's goal in the 18th minute proved to be the difference as the Seattle Sounders defeated the San Jose Earthquakes 1-0 on the road.
