Jader Obrian's equalizer in the 42nd minute lifted FC Dallas to a 1-1 home draw with the Houston Dynamo.

Fafa Picault converted a penalty kick in the 34th minute for the guests' goa.

At Orlando, Florida:

Valentin Castellanos's successful penalty kick in the 77th minute carried New York City to a 1-1 road deadlock with Orlando City.

Nani scored for the Lions in the 52nd minute.

At Carson, California:

In the latest edition of the Freeway Derby (or El Trafico), Javier Chicharito Hernandez (11') and Jonathan Dos Santos (79') each scored once as the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated the visiting Los Angeles Football Club 2-1.

At Commerce City, Colorado:

Kellyn Acosta (57'), Cole Bassett (71'), and Danny Wilson (82') each scored a second-half goal as the Colorado Rapids erased a two-goal halftime and upended visiting Minnesota United 3-2.
