Hoops Too Much For Timbers

 At Frisco, Texas:

Andres Ricaurte (2'), Jader Obrian (13'), Bressan (45'+3), and Dante Sealy (85') each scored a goal on Saturday night as FC Dallas dominated the visiting Portland Timbers 4-1 in Major League Soccer action.

Eryk Williamson scored the Timbers' lone goal in the 62nd minute.

A tough night for Portland's 19 year-old goalkeeper Hunter Sulte as he surrendered three first-half goals in his first MLS start.

The Timbers will now concentrate on Mexico's Club America as they will travel to Mexico City for the second game of their CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal-round series (currently at 1-1 on aggregate), set to kick off this coming Wednesday at 7:15 PM Pacific Time (Fox Sports 1/TUDN).

Portland's next MLS contest is next Sunday, Mother's Day, when they will host the Seattle Sounders in a Cascadia Cup contest at 12:00 Noon Pacific Time (ABC).
