BEARS AMBUSH ZAGS FOR FIRST MEN'S COLLEGE ROUNDBALL TITLE, SPOIL GONZAGA'S BID FOR PERFECTION

Jared Butler scored 22 points while dishing out seven assists on Monday as the Baylor Bears (#1 South; 28-2) dominated the previously-unbeaten Gonzaga Bulldogs (#1 West; 31-1) 86-70 to their first-ever NCAA men's basketball national championship.


Jalen Suggs scored 22 points to pace the Bulldogs, whose bid to become the first team to complete an undefeated season (since the 1975-76 Indiana Hoosiers) came up short.
