At Kennesaw, Georgia:
Jurgen Damm delivered a stoppage-time goal (90'+1) as Atlanta United posted a second 1-0 victory over Alajuelense, eliminating the Costa Rican club 2-0 on aggregate.
At Portland, Oregon:
Yimmy Chara produced a hat trick (19', 36', 79'; only his club's second in a competitive match in their MLS existence) while Diego Valeri (66') and Marvin Loria (89') each scored once as the Portland Timbers destroyed visiting CD Marathon 5-0 in game two and finished off the Honduran club 7-2 on aggregate.
At Mexico City:
Walter Montoya scored twice (49', 84') as Cruz Azul nuked visiting Arcahaie 8-0 in game two and buried the Haitian club by that same score on aggregate.
