CONCACAF Champions League: Reds, Philly, America Advance To Quarterfinals

 The CONCACAF Champions League's quarterfinal round continued on Wednesday with three games.


At Kissimmee, Florida (due to COVID-related travel restrictions between Canada and Mexico):


Justin Morrow scored the game and series-winning goal in the 72nd minute as Toronto FC topped visiting Club Leon 2-1 in game two and ousted the Mexican club 3-2 on aggregate.


At Chester, Pennsylvania:


Jamiro scored twice (PK-47', 90') as the Philadelphia Union demolished visiting Deportivo Saprissa 4-0 in game two and knocked out the Costa Rican club 5-0 on aggregate.


At Mexico City:


Despite dropping a 1-0 game-two home decision to CD Olimpia, Club America, with the aggregate score at 2-2, still won their series with the Honduran club on away goals.
