CONCACAF Champions League: Series-Opening Road Wins For Philly, Cruz Azul As Quarterfinal Round Opens

 Two games were contested on Tuesday as the CONCACAF Champions League's quarterfinal round commenced.


At Atlanta:


Kacper Przybylko scored twice (57', 73') as the Philadelphia Union dominated Atlanta United 3-0 on the road in game one.


It was the most lopsided home defeat suffered by the Five Stripes.


At Tampa, Florida (due to COVID-related travel restrictions between Canada and Mexico):


Brayan Angulo scored twice (3', 24') as Cruz Azul downed Toronto FC 3-1 in their series-opener.
