At Wolverhampton, England:
Diogo Jota haunted his former club with a goal near the end of the opening half (45'+4) as Liverpool upended home-standing Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 in Monday English Premier League action.
Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio late in the second half of the match suffered a scary injury when he collided with teammate Conor Coady that left the former motionless on the pitch.
Rui, who appeared to have suffered a head injury, required 10 minutes of medical attention before being stretchered off the pitch and transported to a local hospital.
