At the Orleans Arena, Paradise, Nevada:
Jalen Suggs scored 23 points on Tuesday night as the top-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs (#1 AP, Coaches; 26-0) overcame their biggest halftime deficit in three years (12 points) and knocked off the second-seeded BYU Cougars (20-6) 88-78 to win the West Coast Conference's tournament championship.
The victory virtually assured the Zags of becoming the top overall seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament.
Trevin Knell came off the bench to top the Cougars with 20 points.
