NCAA South: Bears And Hogs (Who Survived Gritty ORU) Advance To Regional Final

 The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament's South Regional semifinal round took place on Saturday with two games contested at Indianapolis.


At Hinkle Fieldhouse:


Adam Flager came off the bench to score 16 points as the top-seeded Baylor Bears (25-2) downed the fifth-seeded Villanova Wildcats (18-7) 62-51.




At Bankers Life Fieldhouse:


Jalen Tate scored 22 points as the third-seeded Arkansas Razorbacks (25-6) held off the fifteenth-seeded ORU Golden Eagles (18-11) 72-70.


The Hogs advanced to their first regional final since winning the national title in 1995.


Max Abmas topped the Golden Eagles with 25 points.
